Please include as much information as possible. The more information you may have, the more accurate your valuation or report will be. Particularly important are: measurements, markings, inscriptions, signatures, condition status and provenance ( the ownership/sale history of the item). Additional information about the artist, date, country or region of origin and so forth would also be highly appreciated. Any information unknown to you, please indicate it in the corresponding response field(s).

How could I be sure that the images of my object are well taken?

Below are several tips: avoid shaky images, select an appropriate background (contrasting with the object and neutral), use natural light when taking the image avoiding reflections or shadows on the object, do not use flash; if possible and without damaging the object, remove dust and dirt before photographing as it is important to appreciate all possible details of the object; photograph the item on all sides and angles, and avoid out-of-focus images; take photographs of all signatures, marks, stamps, serial numbers, inscriptions, heraldic shields, etc.; document any damage; do not use photo filters, always send several images and, in the case of paintings, always remember to photograph the signature and the back as this often contains essential information.
